Wireless PCMCIA card for Win CE?
Does anyone know of a wireless PCMCIA card that has drivers that are compatible with Windows CE 4.2 or even possibly 5.0 (ideally 4.2) I have been using an Aeronet 350 wireless lan bus card for part of a project and unfortunately I can't get hold of them as Cisco seems to have discontinued them. This leaves Cisco no longer supporting the Windows CE platform with any of their wireless cards and I am now struggling to find an alternative card that does support Win CE. If you know of any that could ......

Google Mail on the Mobile
To some the whole idea of Google going mobile is a bit of a shock. To me it is a logical step. What things do we have with us at all times to access data anytime, anywhere, anyplace... that would be our mobile phones. Here in the UK the majority of people own at least one mobile phone. (Some of us have at least one...) The question is why don't other companies utilise this statistic and provide data to this relatively untapped market. Years ago I wondered when the message to mobile stuff would start ......

London 2.0 - Christmas party Round up
Well it's taken a couple of days for me to get round to writing this post up, so for that I have to apologise! I know some of the London 2.0 guys have been looking for this post for a while... well here it is... The venue - The Old Bank of England was a pretty cool venue. Very old fashioned but with plenty of room. Unfortunately they put us upstairs in a small narrow area with a couple of tables, but it worked... everyone was forced to mingle coz they didn't have a choice. I expected the event to ......

Robert Scoble Geek Dinner Round up
I should start with pre geek dinner… The day started with Barry and I going shopping in Reading for some suitably embarrassing things for Dave Oliver’s pre birthday celebrations at the dinner. We started off with… what is it that stands out with Dave… and we picked on the Modelling Career and girliness of the entire thing… so then went and took that one step further… pink candles, little girly cake and care bear balloons on pink string with little pink teddies ......

I Survived 2 Weeks Without Gadgets
Well I went off to beautiful Egypt for 2 weeks on holiday and it was beautiful. Before I went I vowed that I would not take gadgets with me... Well what did I take with me... I had my mobile there and only used it to send texts to parents to let them know that I was alive and to a couple of friends to organise my journey home. Other than that it was turned off and ignored. I was armed with pens, paper and books... and that was pretty much it really. After the initial shock of not carrying my mobile ......
