Mercury Interactive>QuickTestPro: Object Repository management
For those of you not in the software testing world, QuickTest Professional (a.k.a., QTP) is a testing tool made by Mercury Interactive. Google: an observation of their process
I have some websites that I have created in the last little bit (mostly just boring static HTML for simplicity). I have been tracking them to figure out when/how they will appear on Google. Well, I've searched from work, and the page doesn't appear at all. It's been several weeks, and I've cross-posted the pages all over trying to make sure Google finds them. CSTE Exam: Ouch, and double-ouch
A bunch of us from the office took the CSTE today. For you developer types who aren't familiar with Software Test Engineer certifications (yes, we have them), that's what this is. Let me tell you something folks: this was tough Most of us are pretty sure we didn't pass, but we'll see. Test was very easy at first, but by section 4 was largely theoretical in nature. Since testing stuff can be a little subjective (the theory), these questions were very difficult to answer. It was only 4 hours long, ......
