Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

Microsoft has an Ultimate Extra listed on their site called DreamScene that allows you to use video as your desktop.  It was demoed at CES, promised at the consumer launch, and it is listed as a current extra on Microsoft's site: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/editions/ultimate/default.mspx

But it doesn't show up on my available Extras list.  Anyone know what the status of this feature is?

UPDATE 02/05/2007: Windows Ultimate Blog

Microsoft is finalizing testing of Windows DreamScene through a Technical Preview phase. The technology preview bits will be made available very soon. Stay tuned for more updates.

Windows client director Jeff Putt told the Australian launch event that the final DreamScene code would be released by the end of Microsoft's fourth quarter, which falls mid-year.

The Preview showed up today (15 Feb) in Windows Update. It's a bit of a resource hog though :-(
