Technically Speaking All in on IT

I hate to rant, but what is the deal with no Outlook for Mac OS X? How hard is it to port this application over? My guess is not too hard, however, if *every* great Microsoft app was available for OS X then the reasons for running Windows would diminish quickly. I was running native OS X for awhile (no Windows BootCamp or virtual machines) but was killed by the lack of a few apps it became clear I relied quite a bit on:

  1. Microsoft Outlook 2007
  2. Microsoft OneNote 2007
  3. Microsoft Visio Professional 2007 and
  4. Windows Live Writer

I could find no decent replacement for these apps on the Mac OS X. Microsoft Mac BU, are you listening??

It's a mac. Everyone knows it's not for serious work, so Entourage is just fine for it. :)
