Bill G's House
Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend an Interns BBQ at Bill Gates' house. Wow! Wow! Wow! I was expecting a mansion on a lakefront compound, but even my high expectations were out done by this house and property. To get to Bill's house we first took a bus to a church parking lot where we were greeted by members of Bill's security team who put us through the metal detects so sensitive that they would beep if you had too much iron in your blood. Okay that may have been an exaggeration for effect ......

Edit and Continue

My .NET language of choice is C#, however, after VSLive in Toronto, VB looked much more appealing when I learnt about the revival of “edit and continue” in combination with “rolling back the stack” as a part of VB in the next VS release.  Unfortunately, I have recently learnt (thanks to ASP.NET Pro magazine) edit and continue will not be a part of ASP.NET apps written in VB.

Today is the last day our team has to present our application. We have completed all the competition portions of the contest and todays presentations are just for interest sake @ PDC. Brazil rocks!
I cannot begin to describe how awesome our trip has been so far. We have been to 2 hotels so far - one in sau paulo and another in foz de iguaca. The first one had outdoor basketball, tennis courts, table tennis and pools in addition to 2 weight rooms and an awesome hospitality room. The service there was amazing. I can't even describe how much pampering they do to you at that place. As I meantioned above, we are now in Foz De Igauca and this morning we went on a tour of their 250+ water falls - ......
