msmobiles.com reports on The Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Redistributable

  • This redistributable enables running applications built for both .NET Compact Framework v1 and v2
  • This version is not embedded in the ROM of Windows Mobile devices as the version 1.0
  • Can be installed via ActiveSync or by running the CAB files.

To develop .NET Compact Framework applications, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SDK are required.
