Jeff Julian's Blog CEO of Enterprise Marketer
One thing I have been seeing more of on Geekswithblogs.net is a number of extremely large posts. By extremely large, I am talking 2 pages or more. This does frustrate community readers and your own blog readers because you can't always get the description without reading too much. There is hope however. Inside the system, we have entry types called Articles. This is where I like to send people after large post because they are technically articles at that time. So the preferred method of posting large documents is to create an article and upon saving, you will get a URL for that post at the top. Take that URL and write a post about what you are talking about in the article and let the reader decided if they are interested in it. This will help please your readers and the community readers more and will gain you readership in the long run if done properly. Amen Jeff! My only other annoyance as a reader of GWB is the tons of "one-line link" posts about things that have already been posted by five million other techies (goodness knows, I've been guilty of this in the past). But to each their own, I suppose.

Sounds good. It would be great if the blog could have an abstract of the article.
