So today was the first day of the Microsoft MVP summit, the annual conference where MVP’s from around the world congregate in the Seattle area to network, attend sessions, and interact with their respective product groups.
Of course, there’s a bit of fun to be had as well, and the first day of the conference is no exception.
The Canadian Clique went out for breakfast, picking up some US peeps along the way. We had breakfast at the Palomino. FANTASTIC food…steak and eggs is definitely recommended.
The summit welcome keynote was this afternoon, followed by a welcome reception. People everywhere just can’t get enough of me and my *twin* Daniel, and multiple shots were taken (or doctored, as this one will show).
After the reception we headed to a local Irish pub to watch Canada begin their domination in men’s Olympic hockey!
And the night would not be complete without hanging at at least one summit party, this one being at the Hyatt in one of their lounges.
Donald REALLY loves our MVP lead Simran.
Tomorrow the sessions start, and the real meat of the conference begins. For all my MVP peeps, remember the last bus leaves for Redmond at 8:30 AM…I think its going to be a rough day for some.
