Another Successful Winnipeg Code Camp

Saturday, March 14, 2009 6:32 PM

We held our second Winnipeg Code Camp today, and from the sessions I attended, the conversations that I saw people having, and the general vibe, I’d say it was a success.

We grew to three tracks and had a mix of local speakers as well as from out of town. We even had people attend from out of town: two drove in from Regina!

I wanted to thank all those that helped make the event possible, from our great sponsors, our great speakers, and of course our great attendees. We didn’t hit 100 like we wanted to…had more no-shows than we thought. But we did get about 85 out, which is still up from last year, and we had more companies represented at this code camp than ever before!

Thanks again to all…looking forward to next year’s!

(Below are a couple of photos from the code camp. More can be seen here.)
