Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino
This is quite a classic way to cook spaghetti and, luckily, it's also quite easy to cook.
For four people you need:
- 320/400g of spaghetti
- 8 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 small dried chilly peppers
- 4 cloves of garlic
- salt
Put water in a large pot, make it boil and add salt (like in other pasta recipes).
When it boils again add the spaghetti.
Put the oil inside a pan, add the chilly peppers and the garlic cloves without their "skin". If you want to enhance the garlic taste you can slice the cloves in half.
When the spaghetti are ready, take them out of the water and put them back in the pan after you removed garlic and peppers, and mix them well with the oil and serve hot (both in temperature and taste!).

I'm back
I didn't update my blog for the last mont because I was busy developing my entry for the "Dare to Dream Different" contest.
I worked on the Tahoe II board provided to all the second round competitors and tried to use the .NET Microframework to develop a prototype of an "advanced" alarm clock.
I called it "SvegliONE" that is a joke in Italian because it can mean big alarm clock (alarm clock is "sveglia" in Italian) but also a not so smart guy.
To enter the final stage of the competition you had to submit a video that demonstrates your project.
I planned everything carefully and submitted my entry at 2:00 AM on the night before the contest deadline.
Working with the .NET Microframework for the first time was a nice experience. Using C# and the .NET class library allow to quickly develop both the UI and the application logic.
I easily download information from the internet, parse the information and present it with an easy to use graphic interface.
Here's my video submission:

Other people posted their video on their own blogs:

And now I've only to wait the outcome of the judging process... and wish good luck to the other contestants!
