On the back of my last post - Roundup of news regarding Citrix XenSource deal plus quotes from Mark Templeton there are a number of people who feel that with Citrix's latest acquisition of XenSource that it is now being touted as a perfect opportunity for Microsoft to purchase Citrix.
Well we've also heard in the past that even Cisco might be interested? but stop and think for a moment how good a deal would it be for HP to but Citrix? That would certainly make sense if they wanted to get to IBM's size?
Having said that, I wonder if HP still remember the pain of digesting another company the size of Compaq? Or do they currently have a policy of keeping the acquasitions down to a more manageable size? ;-)
