Click this link: http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/en-us/community/Pages/default.aspx. Notice at the bottom left-hand side of the page there is a SharePoint Saturday mention with the latest events. Now send a shout out to Susan Lennon, Michael Lotter, Eric Harlan, Dux Raymon Sy, Kris Wagner, Josh Carlisle, and every other person who put in some form of effort to the SharePoint Saturday brand. We all worked hard for 3 years or more organizing, volunteering, speaking, sponsoring, or spreading the word for the cause. All SharePoint started out as was a vision between Michael and Susan at a code camp as a singular event. Now they are several events past (10 fold 20 fold 30 fold who knows). It’s amazing what someone can do with a tiny vision and idea. When you are out there thinking about doing something that will change the world don’t think you are crazy or nuts just do it guys. I know it’s pretty hokey, but seriously start something. The worst you can do is fall on the floor, pick yourself up, and get back up to go and start another new thing. Look at me I’m just a kid from St. Louis and I was told I’d never accomplish anything. This is just some food for thought. I hope you all have a good week and do at least one crazy thing to change the world.
