AzamSharp Some day I will know everything. I hope that day never comes.
Everyday I recieve emails saying "I read your article on certain website and I am having trouble solving this problem can you please email me the solution as soon as possible". Most of the time I email them a link which contains the solutions but seems like that they are never happy. They are code hunders and need code :). Even if I give them few lines of code they will email you back the whole code with new requirement. Sometimes you get the feeling that you are their employee, unfortunatly you don't get paid. I am sure you all have been in this situation what is your stand on this issue ? Should we completly neglect such emails or should we take time and please them? Maybe you could send a link to your consulting rates (1hr minimum).

I think it depends on the context. if the user genuiely is helpless with some doubt regarding the article any help extended is fine, but I understand there will be loads of people who will be looking for a free hitch-hiking for a solution to their problem for them Raymond's suggestion is the best.

I agree with Raymond. Such emails are called leads. :)
